Disability Support Worker (Casual)

We are seeking to employ passionate, motivated supported workers committed to empowering people with disabilities.

An expectation to work shift work under Miroma's EBA Agreement, which aligns with the Social, Community, Homecare and Disability Services Award 2010.

Conditions

  • Hold or be welling to undertake a Certificate in Disability Work.
  • Must have a current Driver's License 
  • Must have a Senior First Aid Certificate

To ensure support staff deliver services and programs and nurture and empower participants, all staff members have developed skills and qualifications in;

  • Disability Certificate III
  • Senior First Aid
  • Child Safe Environment Certificate
  • Understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Knowledge in behaviour management, picture exchange and communication systems.
